I’m too old, I’m too busy, I have sore knees/back, I have young kids, My husband is away/i’m on my own, I had a cesarean, I cant afford it, its school holidays, i’m going on holiday soon so its not worth it………………………
OMG is I had a dollar for every time I hear either these or similar excuses I would be a very wealthy woman
But you know the thing is, we all have a stock load of excuses just waiting to be pulled out so that we can avoid doing what we know we should but would rather not.
Lets take me for example
I’m 52, have an 11 year old and a 5 year old – yes i had a baby via C section at nearly 47. I have lost 1 knee cap to injury and constant dislocation leaving me with a knee joint that now dislocates, I have what I presume to be arthritis in both hands and I have a chronic neck injury
I get tired, I have saggy baggy bits from having babies, I have wrinkles and I have grey hair
But, I also work out daily, I eat healthy most, not all, just most of the time, I get up early and go to bed early
Why am I telling you this, so that you know what to expect!
What you will get from me is straight forward advise and help, I get that your body isn’t what is was pre pregnancy, I get that you get tired and I get that you have aches and pains. I understand that sometimes life just gets in the way, I know that school holidays throw all routine out of the window and I understand that sometimes you just need to eat chocolate (or what ever your “food” is)
